Aggregate Handling Belt Conveyor System for "Kurobe 4 Dam", Kansai Electric Power
This is an aggregate transportation conveyors provided for Kurobe 4 Dam built in Japan. It becomes the cause for a success of this project to produce our long distance conveyors. This conveyor system comprises 23 conveyors with total 6.4 km having a capacity of 700 t/h. Long distance conveyors in the system have a length of No. 5 - 1,580 m and No. 5 - 1,920 m driven by two motors respectively. The conveyor system have transported total 4,500,000 ton of aggregate until dam construction completed. Now, the Kurobe 4 Dam is generating 258 MW electric power.
